  • NOTE TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS RE: SHIFT IN 2017-18 SCHOOL TAX RATES BETWEEN ORANGETOWN & CLARKSTOWN...

Please read the August 2017 Letter from Superintendent Montesano to make you aware of a shift in 2017-18 school tax rates between the two towns that comprise the Nyack School District, Orangetown and Clarkstown.

This letter contains direct links that provide additional information from New York State regarding equalization rates and real property tax services.

The accompanying Q&A to Nyack School District 2017-18 Tax Rates was created to assist in understanding guidelines that the District must adhere to when setting annual tax rates.
